Course Description
This course provides an intriguing review of leading edge, multi-modality imaging of breast cancer. Bringing together recognized world leaders in advanced breast cancer imaging, this conference is intended for Radiologists, Surgeons, Pathologists, Technologists, Sonographers and other professionals with special interest in breast cancer. This course provides opportunities for interaction with the experts and for review of advanced or challenging clinical cases.
At The Conclusion, The Participant Will Be Able To:
- Identify the mammographic, MR and Ultrasound patterns of invasive and in situ breast cancer using state-of-the-art techniques.
- Discuss the changing roles of imaging for high-risk patients, as well as for the advanced diagnosis, MR-guided biopsy and staging of breast cancer.
- Describe the advantages of a multi-modality, intra-disciplinary approach to breast cancer.
- Evaluate the clinical capabilities of MR-CAD, BSGI, Whole-body MR and Positron Emission Tomography and Mammography (PET and PEM).

Join Dr. Bruce Porter and colleagues for an intensive week-long mini-workshop on advanced breast imaging at our facility First Hill Diagnostic Imaging in Seattle, Washington.
This workshop begins with a review of the fundamentals, clinical and technical principles of magnetic resonance (MR) imaging of breast cancer. This highly-interactive workshop integrates lectures, extensive clinical case review, hands-on training with MR-Biopsy and independent review of teaching file cases on CAD workstations. Collegial interaction and evening social functions are considered essential to the learning process as well!
